Fun fact, Pinot Blanc is the descendent of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. This is varietal that really loves warm weather and so the warmer than average 2019 vintage of the Villa Wolf Pinot Blanc created smaller berries on the vines with thicker skins, providing more depth and concentration in the wine. It pours out with a pleasant light honey gold color with a viscous touch in the glass. Fresh aromas of pear, apricot blossom, peach and stone fruit notes are pure examples of the Pfalz terrior. This wine is defined by a stoney minerality that frames the medium body, supple fruits and savory acidity to keep it lively.
