Cycles Gladiator Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Petit Verdot and 8% Merlot from vineyards in Paso Robles and Lodi, California. The wine proves to be quite inky when poured with a crushed black velvet color and blood red rim. Upfront juicy aromas of black currants, black berry, red raspberry, juicy plum, vanilla and suede are a real treat for the nose. Juicy-ness prevails on the palate with bold round fruit flavors and an opulent finish. This is a great backyard barbecue wine for hamburgers, homemade pizza, sausages and Japanese glazed short ribs.
